We are pleased to announce that Dr. med. dent. Céline Lehnherr, member of the AVOLA Associate Board, has been awarded the first AVOLA scholarship grant. From summer 2025 to summer 2026, Céline will attend a Master of Public Health program following prior completion of the PCE Program.
The Harvard Master of Public Health (MPH) in Clinical Effectiveness, an intensive summer-focused program, provides advanced training specifically designed for physicians and other health professionals, making it highly relevant for strengthening the methodological foundations of her PhD research. With targeted courses in epidemiology, biostatistics, and implementation science, the program offers a structured pathway to deepen her expertise while she continues her work as a dentist and PhD candidate. Its compact summer format enables focused learning without interrupting her ongoing professional responsibilities.
In addition to academic excellence, the program offers broad international exposure and valuable networking opportunities, fostering collaboration with peers and leading experts from around the world. Continuing her studies at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health (677 Huntington Ave, Boston, MA, USA) is both a logical and essential step in her career development, allowing her to integrate a global perspective into her research.
